What type of information does the Diet ID assessment provide?

Diet ID's rapid dietary assessment provides the following information:

  • Diet Quality: The Diet ID score is on a scale of 1-10. Diet ID determines diet quality using a robustly validated scale called the Healthy Eating Index (HEI) 2020. This metric scores the dietary pattern on a scale of 1 to 100. It takes into account food groups and nutrients that correlate with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and scientifically established dietary health risks.
  • Dietary Style: Diet ID can identify someone's closest dietary style from vegetarian to paleo and all other eating styles in between. Based on image selection and a few screening questions, users can identify what style looks like how they typically eat to identify the closest style.
  • Intake of Food Groups per Day: Diet ID can estimate how many servings of dozens of food groups from legumes, to leafy greens, sugary beverages to sweets.
