How do I use the new Diet ID admin portal to access participant / patient data?

Diet ID has launched its new Partner Admin Portal, which gives you real-time access to your population's Diet ID data. Depending on the type of access you (e.g. if you are a covered entity and we have a Business Associate's Agreement on file) you may have limited access to some of these features.

Log in with your admin email address, password, and OTP

  • The new admin portal is accessible via a NEW URL: [yourcode].beta.dietid.com. You will receive this link from your Diet ID account manager.
  • Log in with your same admin credentials.
  • You will receive an OTP (one-time password), which is a 6-digit code via email. Enter this code when prompted.
  • You can now check “Remember this computer” to ensure you don’t have to enter the OTP every time you want to sign in.

Home page

This is an overview page with summary information about your population. Several features like resources, settings, and billing are coming soon.

Patient Data

Here is where you will see a list of all patients in your population and a few key metrics for each person.

Use the search bar to search for user by first name, last name, or email address. Results will load in real time as you are typing.

Click “View” to see the full patient record

Use the toggle to look at the full patient list or a subset list you have created.

Building lists

List building is a great way to organize your populations for easy viewing. One patient can be on multiple lists, so you can use the list function to establish groups for group-based coaching, establish a high risk list so you can keep track of the most important patients, organize by provider or cohort, etc.

First, create a list from the home page or patient list. Click the “+” on the Home page, Name your list, and click “Add list”

Then find the patient you want to add to the list. Search for the patient, then under the “Actions” column, choose “Manage Patient Lists”

Add the patient to the list. Check the box next to the list the patient should be added to, then click “Save”

Then view the list. From Patient Data, select the list you want to view from the dropdown.

If you don't see the patients you added, refresh your browser.

You can remove a patient from a list by clicking “Manage Patient Lists” from the “Actions” menu for that individual. Then deselect the list the person should no longer be a part of, and click “Save”.

Patient record

The new patient record opens up as a tab on the Patient Data section, allowing you to open multiple patient records at once for a streamlined workflow. For example, if you are seeing 10 patients in one day, you can open all the patient records as tabs so you can simply flip between each during visits.

Summary of the latest demographic information is on the left

Alert message is a shared alert you can record that is persistent and viewable by every provider who accesses that person’s chart. This slot can be used to share helpful information about the individual’s sensitivities, new life circumstances, or general risks.

Today’s Priorities includes a list of food groups to increase, food groups to decrease, as well as serving size tool tips to explain how to put these recommendations into practice. This section also includes the latest challenge someone should try, if your organization is using our Daily Actions module.

Notes section allows you to draft a note (minimum 100 characters) and save those notes. Notes are viewable by all admins.

From the patient record, you can add this patient to one or more lists if you wish.

From the "Latest Assessments" tab, you can view the assessment history and access multiple detailed assessment snapshot reports.

You can view the check-in history of in individual if they are participating in challenges.

View the assessment report

The assessment report has details on the selected assessment, including recommended nutrient- and food group-specific changes, as well as a link to the recommended sample meal plan.

Click “View” from the Patient List to view the Patient Record.

Then tap “View” next to the assessment you want to open from the Summary or Latest Assessments tab at the bottom of the patient record view.

This will open a full assessment report. This report link does not contain any PHI so the unique link can be shared with others who may not have access to the admin portal.
